Tarun Bhardwaj

Marketer. Psychology graduate. Someone trying to put into words what people feel but can’t say.

I live in Delhi and work at the intersection of psychology, human behaviour, and marketing. I spend a lot of time thinking about why people do what they do, and what quietly shapes the way they think, choose, and live.

My background is in psychology, while my professional work has been in marketing and creative media. The thread connecting both is simple: understanding people.

What I’m building here

This is where I write and think in public.

I’m interested in human nature — subconscious patterns, social conditioning, self-deception, meaning, and identity. Writing helps me slow down thoughts and understand them more clearly.

What shapes my thinking

I read widely and without much concern for categories. The Bhagavad Gita and Kafka can sit on the same shelf.

Thinkers who’ve influenced me include Nanak and Buddha, Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Carl Jung, J. Krishnamurti, and Richard Dawkins.

I’m less interested in rigid frameworks and more interested in the emotional and psychological reality behind ideas.

Pattern recognition as a practice

I naturally pay attention to patterns. In behaviour, conversations, and the things people avoid saying directly.

Writing is how I test whether those observations hold meaning beyond intuition.
